Route 66 Prayer Tour
The Route 66 Prayer Tour is a four-night series of gatherings for the express purpose of leading Missouri Baptists to pray. We believe that if God is going to bring revival to our own hearts, our churches, our state and our nation, it will be in response to our prayers. Bob Caldwell, who was instrumental in putting together the Route 66 Prayer Tour, noted that each gathering will feature a mix of worship and prayer, led by different people each night, but involving everyone in attendance. “We will pray for our host church and their immediate area, for revival in our own hearts and spiritual awakening in our state,” said Caldwell.
The Route 66 Prayer Tour will be held August 30th through September 2nd at four locations along historic Route 66. Prayer gatherings will begin each evening at 6:30 PM.
The four locations are as follows:
- Sunday, August 30 at First Baptist Church of Crestwood in St. Louis
- Monday, August 31 at First Baptist Church in St. James
- Tuesday, September 1 at First Baptist Church in Marshfield
- Wednesday, September 2 at Forest Park Baptist Church in Joplin
Dr. Pochek is inviting Missouri Baptists who wish to experience Rt 66 to join him as he journeys between Prayer Tour locations. FBC Crestwood to FBC St. James. Depart at 1 PM from FBC Crestwood parking lot.
September 1 Route
FBC St. James to FBC Marshfield. Depart at 1 PM from FBC St. James parking lot.
September 2 Route
FBC Marshfield to Forest Park Joplin. Depart at 1 PM from FBC Marshfield parking lot.
