The 2026 Prayer and Evangelism Conference will be a time of equipping and encouraging. We will examine the theme of Called to the Harvest. Choose from a variety of breakout sessions designed to encourage and equip you to think strategically and creatively about reaching your community.

Plenary Speakers

JJ Washington

After an ACL injury ended his football career at NC State, JJ encountered the gospel through a campus pastor and committed his life to ministry in 2003. He has since served in multiple pastoral roles, worked with the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, and taught as an adjunct professor. JJ now serves as the North American Mission Board’s National Director of Personal Evangelism. He holds an M.A. in Leadership, an M.Div. from Luther Rice Seminary, and a D.Min. from Southeastern Seminary. JJ and his wife, Tamara, have been married for 21 years and have two children, Jairus and Jayla.

Dr. Kie Bowman

Dr. Kie Bowman has served as senior pastor of Hyde Park Baptist Church in Austin, Texas, since 1997. He holds M.Div. and D.Min. degrees from Southwestern Seminary and a B.A. from the University of the Cumberlands. Dr. Bowman is the author of several books, including I AmThe King and His Community, and Evangelistic Prayer. He is a leader in Austin’s citywide Unceasing Prayer Movement. Dr. Bowman and his wife, Tina, have three children.

Daniel Ritchie

Daniel was born without arms, and God has used his visible difference to shape a life of purpose and hope. Each year, he speaks to more than 200,000 people, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and encouraging others to find their identity in Him rather than in limitations or opinions. Daniel lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his wife, Heather, and their two children, Teague and Elliott.

Dr. Stephen Rummage

Dr. Stephen Rummage serves as the Executive Director‑Treasurer of the Florida Baptist Convention. A former pastor in four states, he holds a Ph.D. in preaching from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and an M.Div. in biblical languages from Southeastern Seminary. He has taught at multiple seminaries, authored several books, and founded a nationwide broadcast ministry. Dr. Rummage and his wife, Michele, have one son, a daughter‑in‑law, and a granddaughter.
