Making Disciples

Jesus said, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19). He invites us into this life and covenant promise. The Great Call of Christ isn’t go; it’s follow. The Great Commandment isn’t make disciples; it’s love the Lord your God with everything. We live out the Great Commission by following Christ with everything— our heart, soul, mind and strength. We give our all in loving obedience to Jesus and his mission to make disciples of all nations.

Our Vision:

We envision a day when all who come to Jesus will be discipled by healthy followers of Christ along an intentional, gospel-centered pathway.

How we get there:

The Making Disciples Network is collaborating with Missouri Baptist churches to cultivate a gospel- centered culture of disciple-making in our state.

To do this we will:

  • Embrace the established work of Christ by submitting to His leadership and authority.
  • Enter into partnership with disciple-making churches and practitioners across Missouri.
  • Encourage towards, Equip for, and Engage in disciple- multiplication among Missouri Baptists.
