Biographical Information:
Jim Schurke is a retired layman living in Springfield Missouri and serves in various leadership roles in a local Baptist Church.

He has had an interest in beliefs differing from his own for many years. He was trained and certified by The North American Mission Board, Interfaith Witness Department in Mormonism which he has studied for several years. He is also trained and certified in Jehovah’s Witnesses.

He is a member of the Apologetics Network of the Missouri Baptist Convention, specializing in Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses and Cult Identification. He has been a presenter in conferences regarding these subjects for several years and was selected as the Missouri Baptist Convention Interfaith Witness Associate of the in 1991.
