Evangelism Resources for Sunday School

Faith Sunday School Evangelism Strategy

A totally re-designed FAITH Evangelism! The roots of FAITH remain the same: creating a culture of evangelism in your church by equipping and mobilizing believers in lifestyle evangelism, disciple-making, and ministry. If your church does its primary outreach through the Sunday School, you will find that FAITH training can strengthen and streamline the ministry of these open Bible study groups. No matter how your church chooses to do FAITH training, this resource follows this weekly schedule:

  • Team Time – 15 minutes of learning the gospel presentation and discussing home-study assignments
  • Teaching Time – 45 minutes of classroom training
  • Visitation Time – approximately 1 ½ hours of intentional visits by teams
  • Celebration Time – 30 minutes of celebration when teams return from visits

The following statement by one FAITH learner named Kathy sums up the goals and possibilities of FAITH training:

FAITH training has given me the confidence to share Christ with anyone at any time. The training enabled me to be prepared at a moment’s notice. I would never have been that bold, even though I wanted to be. The Lord has demonstrated time and time again that if I’m prepared and willing to obey, He will go before me.

FAITH Evangelism 1, contains 12 sessions, and is the first-level training course that focuses on equipping the learner to share their faith and minister.

Share Jesus Without Fear

Fear is the reason most people do not share their faith.

The reason most people do not share their faith is fear according to Bill Fay, author of Share Jesus Without Fear. This approach was developed out of Fay’s personal experience. He has personally shared his faith over 10,000 times. This approach is very conversational and requires little memorization since it uses a marked New Testament. Bill Fay teaches the three-session course on video, which is included in the kit. For more information go the Lifeway Christian Resources web site: LifeWay Stores
