University of Missouri - Columbia
To multiply disciples of Jesus at Mizzou, for the good of the campus and the world.
I’ve been involved in ministry to students in a variety of settings for over a decade. Over the last two years, though, I sensed the Lord leading me to a more specific role in collegiate ministry. Since my days as a student at Mizzou, my heart has been burdened for that campus. So, in the summer of 2016, my family and I moved to Columbia to give our lives as missionaries to the campus and community.
I love getting to help students grow in knowing and loving Jesus. I love seeing Him give students a vision for their lives - a vision for walking out the Great Commission in their everyday lives regardless of their future job title, or family status, or geographic location.
I’ve been blessed to call Angela my bride for the last 12 years. We have four kiddos that keep us on our toes - Micah, Avery, Ella, and Leah. I am a pretty big fan of coffee, enjoy most sports, and really like to build things. Since the summer of 2016 we’ve been living in our own version of Fixer Upper. My next project is a table for our dining room that’s big enough for a crowd!
I hope to see disciples made through Missio Dei who live as missionaries to the campus in everyday life. I hope to see the larger body of Christ on campus united in a common vision to see every pocket of students transformed by the gospel.
Missio Dei gathers each week on campus for prayer and Bible study, discussing what it means to follow Jesus and make Him known. We also offer intentional discipleship relationships for those who are hungry to grow. And we continue to look for opportunities to bless and serve the campus and community as a tangible expression of the love of God.
