Missouri State University
We are a family of servant missionaries commissioned by God into the world.
The Lord called me to college ministry 7 years ago. I had met Matt Kearns when I was in a ministry for 12 years. I called him which ended with a drive to Hannibal, MO to discuss being the campus missionary on Missouri State’s campus.
I love getting to talk to students and meeting them where they are. I also enjoy getting to pray with fellow campus ministers.
I have been married to my wife Christen since January 1, 2005 and we have two kids; Ree and Isaiah. I love to read books of many kinds. Favorite authors include: God, Bill Hull, Tim Keller, Nicholas Sparks, and Harlan Coban. Current book I am reading is The New Jim Crow. I also love to camp and fish.
Our hope is to see students resist the temptation to be consumers and really embrace the call of the church as we see in Scripture. We hope that the result of this will unite campus ministries, better define the mission, and see many students experience life change spiritually.
The best way to connect with our ministry is to be an active participant in our LifeGroups. The LifeGroup is our gospel community that usually involves a meal and discussion. Also, you can connect with us through our website.
