University of Central Missouri
Transforming our campus with the gospel and love of Jesus.
When I was 17 years old God called me to pastoral ministry. Since that time He has continued to faithfully place me in positions where I can live out that calling. And in the Spring semester of 2014, I got to experience Central BSU ministry as my church served a meal to the students. From there God began to open up more doors for connecting and eventually led me to be called as the Director in April 2016.
I love when I see a young man or women in their college years being told by many voices that this is the time to focus on self-development, self-pleasure and self-fulfillment, and yet because of her faith in Jesus she dreams of how to deny self and live for Jesus in a way that will reach her campus.
My wife Bailey and I have three children; Roman, Ian, and Laurel. We love to tell stories, walk to the park, catch a UCM game, and even just sit at the dinner table as one by one we tell about our days. My wife and I whenever possible try to travel and see new parts of the world together. I personally love to read, run, write and preach, often in that order.
My prayer is that Central BSU will become a place and community that is known for its service and devotion to Jesus. raise up Christian men and women who enter their next mission field with the skills and passion to make Jesus known in any and all career fields.
Our Ministry hangs on some main events throughout the week. We gather for prayer every Monday morning and as we pray for the immediate needs at UCM and in Warrensburg we ask God to use us to transform our campus. Tuesday evenings we have a home-cooked dinner provided by local churches that is open to all students. And on Thursday evenings we gather for a worship service together.
