Take part in HIS Heartland Vision Tours
The Heartland Interstate Strategy (HIS) task force is launching two vision tours in 2014 to help Southern Baptists from multiple state conventions take the gospel to largely unreached areas of the I-29 / I-49 corridor.
A vision tour via bus launches from Omaha, Neb., Aug. 26-28 and brings together state convention executives, directors of missions, pastors and churches that want to partner with other churches, lay leaders and anyone else interested in sharing the gospel in the region.
The bus tour begins in Omaha, NE with stops in Sioux Falls, SD and Sioux City, IA returning to Omaha for departure. The tour will feature these three metro areas as well as Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada; Fargo, ND/Moorhead, MN; and St. Joseph/northeast Kansas.
The bus tour is designed to help leaders identify which hub cities along the I-29 corridor they want to focus on and to lay the groundwork for future evangelistic opportunities.
