Prayer and Spiritual Resources

E. M. Bounds says, “Prayer honors God, and dishonors self. It is a plea of weakness, ignorance, need,” and he continues by saying, “the (prayer) closet is not an asylum for the lazy and worthless Christian. It is not a nursery where none but babies belong…it’s the scene of heroic and unearthly conflicts…great things for God are done by great prayers. Those who pray much, study much, love much, work much, and do much for God and humanity.”
